A.J. Love will be hosting the Blues Jam at the Water Hole in Chicago on the 3rd Thursday of each month, beginning on June 20th. We'll be featuring various special guests and keepin' it old school Real Deal Blues.

A.J. Love is in the process of launching a brand new Non-Profit Organizations called "Blues in the Schools - Madison". "Blues in the Schools - Madison" made its debut at the Boys & Girls Club in Madison with a clinic put on by Steve Freund on Friday March 15th. "Blues in the Schools - Madison" is dedicated to providing Blues & music educvation to the children of Dane County.

We are putting on Benefit Concerts every Thursday night at the Knuckle Down Saloon, raising money for a variety of great causes including "Blues in the Schools", WORT, The Salvation Army and many others.....

On January 24th we will be raising money for our "Blues in the Schools" program. We are starting a "Blues in the Schools" program in Madison in 2013, bringing in world renowned Blues artists do to free Blues clinics and education at the Boys & Girls Club's "Creative and Performing Arts" program, and at other various schools and community centers.

Everyone here at A.J. Love Productions is very serious about giving back to our community.

We're filming a series of live Chicago Blues shows to make into a DVD. Raw, intense, down home, real deal Blues with All-Star artists. This film will capture the intensity, excitement, and raw energy of the live Blues experience in a small club environment. Complete with extensive interviews with the artists themselves as well as full length song performances, this is a chance for these Blues artists to tell their story, in their own words, of their experiences over many decades of playing & living the Blues, as well the life & music lessons they learned from touring with some of the greatest musicians of all time.

Professionally shot by Andrew LaValley (Mad Toast Live & Bear Sound) and directed by A.J. Love, this DVD will feature some of the greatest Chicago Blues musicians alive today, many of whom have never appeared before on a commercially available DVD (despite their vast accomplishments) . This DVD will be recorded live at the Knuckle Down Saloon in Madison, WI in November & December of 2012, over various Friday night performances.

It is expensive to film, edit, and produce a DVD, and by Pre-Ordering the DVD and/or sponsoring the film, you will help us make this incredible project happen! This is a film that needs to be made NOW, while these great artists are alive and in their prime.
